OUR MISSION
“Our mission is to inspire students to follow Jesus TODAY."

We do this by equipping teenagers to be servant-leaders in schools, local churches, and society. Through the instruction of the Word of God, building relationships, development of Godly character, and responsiveness to the Holy Spirit students will be able to put their faith into action every day. At DNA Academy students will have the opportunity to experience daily encounters with Jesus that will change their lives forever.

What is DNA

DNA Academy provides Bible-based elective and college credited classes for Public High School students. These classes can earn college credit and can be taken during the school day in replacement of a different elective class.  DNA is an acronym for Discipleship in Action.  Our mission is to equip students with a foundational Biblical Worldview, deepen relationships with Christ, & instill a better understanding of the Bible.  DNA is a nondenominational community outreach across churches and allows teenagers to build bonds with other Christian kids.  We teach a strong Bible-based curriculum.  Our off-campus classroom is next to the high school.  Our goal is to help teens be "In the world but not of the world."  Elective classes are offered several periods of the school day. Call us for questions on Bible curriculum, support, or scheduling.  We are also trying to offer tutoring and space for high school kids to hang out after school.  We would love volunteer support for this time.

If you can support us in any way we would greatly appreciate it.  Our desire is to unite churches in our community by preparing kids to stand strong around peers and in the world where opposing Christian ideas and worldviews are widespread.  As teens prepare for college or the workforce, they need to be equipped with an understanding of how to get God’s Word from the Bible in a Living and practical way.

We are excited to build relationships with the community of believers and see God work in lives.  Our goal is to be transparent about curriculum and finances.  We will make decisions through a Board of Directors and will strive to maximize the financial resources available to us.  Your Prayer for God's blessing and protection for our ministry is critical.  Building relationships will open hearts to receive.  If you have time to volunteer for monitoring, tutoring, or teaching please let us know.  DNA is a Non-Profit Organization and we need financial support to operate.

DNA Leadership
Who we are

Our
Vision

At DNA we are committed to developing passionate, transformational leaders who
know how to live in God’s presence and establish their lives on a clear set of
biblical values that establish their identity enable them to thrive in life and serve as
influential leaders in school, in their church and in society. Students engage
reflectively and thoughtfully with the questions of the world in the areas of
scientific and cultural theory. Simultaneously they learn to analyze society through
a biblical lens. As an action requirement is essential to the development of a
Christian worldview, Missional Service Strategies (MSS) are worked into the DNA
curriculum and coursework.

This means that our ultimate end is to develop excellence in the lives of our
students by focusing on their identity in Christ and life transformation. We take

students through an intentional and Biblical process of self-discovery as they grow
to understand the Bible, who Jesus Christ is and also who they are in Christ.
This process of transformation happens by bringing several strategies together:

The classroom strategy
The local church strategy
the missional service strategy

Students are immersed in the Bible and absorb God’s Word as they study and learn what Biblical disciple-making is and form a Christian worldview. Each student is offered the opportunity to earn regional college credit through an accredited Christian university.

This is where students are encouraged to become more involved in their churches and learn
what it looks like to grow, serve and walk with Christ in the context of
Church. Students are encouraged to work with their pastors and youth
pastors as they serve their church.

Mission is the action part of DNA.
Students invest their lives, their time, their energy, and their talents in
local schools, community centers, and various activities. This can
happen nationally or internationally.
